STRONG GIRLS CLUB

There have been lots of exciting goings on behind the scenes which have been keeping me busy of late, but I’m really happy to say it’s been fun! Everything is now done and I can reveal something I’ve been so excited about…….drum roll……

So you may have noticed a few changes on the blog, things have been getting more serious around here and lately most of my time outside of work, has been spent focusing on the blog, a lot of burning the candle at both ends, but it’s all been worth it! I’ve been working with my tried and trusted blog designer Phil over at Pipdig who has worked his magic yet again. Phil has also been incredibly helpful not to mention patient with my multitude of questions as my blog became self-hosted and finally made the move to WordPress. The other exciting news is that I’ve started working with Jade, the awesome mind and photographer behind JKG Photography. Jade has really helped inject a fresh look and vibrancy with her photography which has enabled me to give fashion more of a focus. Jade works with Gracie Francesca and Daniella Vanier, two bloggers who I greatly admire and enjoy following, so it’s safe to say I’m so excited to have the opportunity to work with Jade, which brings me onto today’s post.

This outfit is one of my all time favourites and one of the first ones I shot with Jade. Like a lot of things in my life, I discovered this awesome slogan tee from Mutha.Hood on Instagram and loved it instantly. Mutha.Hood celebrates the empowerment of motherhood, which I fully support. I’m also a strong believer in empowering ourselves by supporting and encouraging each other, so for me this tee is for everyone! Whenever I wear this tee, I always get positive comments and most of the time it’s from strangers saying they love the messaging. Now I know this outfit is pretty pink, but I’ve drawn together many of my favourite elements from my wardrobe, things that make me feel happy and kick-ass at the same time. So pink and feminine doesn’t mean any less empowered.
