L’OCCITANE x RIFLE PAPER CO

I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I was when I heard that L’Occitane and my favourite stationery and lifestyle brand Rifle Paper Co. had collaborated! One of my L’Occitane staples: the Shea Butter collection has been adorned with Anna Bond’s beautiful hand-painted illustrations, which were designed to capture the scents, colours, and textures of the South of France. The limited edition collection includes the classic full size Shea Butter hand cream, in addition to soaps, the rose shea butter and balms in a more travel sized version. I really love that some of the collection comes in gorgeous little tins and the Shea Collection also contains lovely cards. L’Occitane’s Shea Butter hand cream has been regular fixture on my bedside table for years as I always use it before bed. The cream is enriched with 20% organic Shea Butter and has a super-creamy texture which sinks into the skin quickly and really protects, nourishes and moisturise my hands. I also use it as a body cream, when my skin needs some extra TLC, especially during the cold Winter months when the heating is on full blast. The scent reminds a little of baby lotion, it’s comforting and the blend of honey, almond extract and coconut oil with Shea Butter soothes and softens my skin.
I first discovered Rifle Paper Co while in New York a few years ago. The beautiful illustrations instantly caught my eye and when I say it’s my favourite stationary and lifestyle brand, it may perhaps be an understated way of saying I have a mild obsession. I have such a weakness for pretty stationary and I’ve even been lusting over some lovely Rifle Paper Co fabric from The Village Haberdashery for a skirt I’m planning to make for Blogtacular* (yes I like to forward plan). The illustrations of this colourful limited edition collaboration feature a beautiful blend of leaves, nuts, and Shea blossoms. I have to confess I’m not sure if they instantly conjure up the essence of the South of France but I think that’s because these illustrations have become such a familiar sight to me
This gorgeous collaboration has really brightened up my dressing table these last few gloomy January weeks and yes it’s definitely fed my love for all things Rifle Paper Co. Matching my stationary and hand cream…..priceless!
